Martin's notes: The beginning of Rodney King reminds me of my girlfriend threatening to leave me if I don't turn "those soddin' cowbells off". I think they were the only bit of percussion on my drum machine. Nothing much to say about this one, the lyrics are OK but, ten years on, seem a little obvious except for the made up words which are daft. I remember Meriel in the studio, we all really liked her and she couldn't sing for laughing. I love those guitar swoops in between the tracks, that was my favourite sound at the time.
Lyrics: Do you know my name before you tear me apart? Do you care who I am?
